Main America was incorporated in 1982 after operating for five years, from 1978 to 1982, under the name Main Business Associates and Main Business Insurance Agency.
From the time of it's original inception in 1978, it has principally been a commercial Property & Casualty operations. Also, it has expanded to handle various Disability and Life Products.
Main America presently operates with a staff comprised of 6 licensed agents who assist in the placing and selling of Property & Casualty insurance coverages. The principal of the agency has over 30 years of claims and sales management experience in the field.
Main America has a working relationship in which it is providing Property & Casualty services to a few large Life Insurance Companies. These services have expanded the Pennsylvania based company into the New Jersey and New York markets. This expansion now has Main America servicing these agent's Property & Casualty needs in THREE states.
Main America has also provided "consulting services" in the area of loss control and marketing over the past several years Main America has assisted new companies, upon their formation, with information on the proper way to protect their financial assets with various insurance products.
Main America not only handles the main markets of retail, manufacturing, contractors, and product Liability, but has specialized in all types of Professional Liability coverages. Through our mechanized operations we are able to handle large volumes of business and look to continue our growth in the years to come.
